All our instructors at Beach City Driving Schools are thoroughly background checked and fingerprinted through the Department of Justice as well as the DMV. We also make sure to take our time when selecting instructors.

Every one of our instructors has a background in teaching and/or coaching and enjoys working with students of all ages and backgrounds. We have a staff of patient and friendly instructors that are ready and excited to teach you how to drive!

At Beach City Driving Schools we only use vehicles with top safety ratings. Safety is our priority. All our vehicles are equipped with a passenger master brake that allows the instructor to stop the vehicle if necessary. We treat each student as though they are members of our own family and we do everything that we can to ensure their safety behind the wheel.

Enroll online by choosing your Tustin driving program, completing the student questionnaire, and paying for your program.
Our scheduling team emails you about appointment availability. Keep all lesson scheduling and rescheduling in that email thread; lessons are not booked by phone.
For minors, we book one lesson at a time. Appointments are first come, first served. Enroll early and allow time for practice between lessons; an approaching DMV test or permit deadline does not guarantee rush scheduling.
Tustin Driving Lessons
Tustin driving lessons are available for teens, new adult drivers, international students, and licensed drivers seeking a refresher. Start by sharing your driving experience, confidence level, and the everyday situations you want to handle better.
If driving along Tustin Ranch Road or Irvine Boulevard raises questions, discuss the skills involved with your instructor: observing intersections, judging gaps, changing lanes, and controlling speed. Practice is selected for your readiness and conditions.
The six-hour program includes four private, 90-minute lessons with no other student riding along. Separate appointments give you time to review feedback and practice recommended skills between lessons.
Free pickup and drop-off at your door are included within our service area. California DMV-licensed, background-checked instructors use marked school cars with an instructor brake. Confirm pickup details and lesson arrangements by email.

Who teaches the lessons, and what car is used?
Our California DMV-licensed, background-checked instructors teach in marked school vehicles equipped with an instructor brake. One-on-one instruction allows your instructor to focus on your driving decisions, vehicle control, and individual learning goals.
How do I enroll, book, or reschedule a lesson?
Choose your driving program online, complete the student questionnaire, and pay to enroll. The scheduling team then emails you about availability. All scheduling and rescheduling must remain in that email thread; lessons are not booked by phone.
Can my teen book all four lessons or rush before a DMV test?

Are pickup, fuel, insurance, or completion certificates extra?
Our behind-the-wheel programs include pickup and drop-off within the service area, with no fuel or insurance surcharges. A completion certificate is included for students under 18. Review our published policies for cancellation, rescheduling, and other applicable fees.
Can I use a school car for my DMV driving test?
School-car use and instructor assistance on test day are available through a separate DMV test-day package, subject to availability. Review your chosen program’s inclusions and email the scheduling team about test-day arrangements.
